Industry Insight Series

Our new Industry Insight Night Series brings students and families together with universities, professionals, and alumni to explore high-impact career pathways. Each session focuses on a different industry and is designed to provide clear, practical insights into study options, entry pathways, future careers, and real-world experiences.

Term 2 - 2026 Focus: ENGINEERING + ARTS, LAW & COMMUNICATIONS

Industry Insight Night

WHEN: Engineering - 21st May + Arts, Law & Communications - 11th June
TIME:
5pm - 6:30pm
WHERE:
Caringbah High School Hall

Arts, Law and Communications

Arts, Law and Communications open the door to some of the most diverse and flexible career pathways out there. There’s no single “track”, instead, students shape their direction through interests, skills, experiences and opportunities along the way.

At this event, students and parents will hear from universities, industry professionals and alumni who have taken very different paths, from media and journalism to law, policy, film and television, history, publishing, sociology, psychology and cultural studies.

We’ll explore how these pathways actually work in the real world, how to choose subjects and degrees without locking yourself in, how to build relevant experience along the way, and how these industries connect to a wide range of future careers that often don’t follow a straight line.

Engineeering - 21st May 2026

This event offers an introductory, honest, and highly informative look at pathways into Engineering. Students and parents will hear directly from universities, industry professionals, and alumni who are currently studying or working across a range of engineering fields.

Our speakers will walk students and families through the realities of an engineering pathway, from subject selection and university options to specialisations, industry experience, and future career opportunities in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.
